How to change the computer name in macOS?

I have an old Macbook Air using a Catalina as macOS. How do I change the computer’s name?

Hi Aaron,

To change your computer name, you need to go to Settings > Sharing.

Under the Computer name, click the Edit button. Change the computer name accordingly.
